Diet Pills
It can be extremely challenging to maintain a high sense of self-esteem while trying to maintain a proper weight or harder yet, to actually lose weight. Anyone trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight needs to understand that this is a process that requires effort; the kind of effort that needs to be consistent and practiced on a daily basis. Some people opt out of the proper effort necessary for a successful weight management regimen and choose to take diet pills instead. Granted, there are some diet pills that are safe for your body, but most do not lead towards long-term and sustained success. The best approach is to follow the basics of the food pyramid, include daily exercise in your schedule and then perhaps use some diet pills to help you get a jumpstart on your weight management plan. One should never solely rely on these types of pills to help achieve an ideal weight.
There are some legal, prescription diet pills that are actually regulated by the Food and Drug Administration agency (FDA), providing a certain level of confidence in terms of their efficacy and safety. But before you get too excited, it should be noted that there are possible side effects and contraindications with certain pills, and you should always check with your primary care physician first before introducing any new pills or medications into your diet. Here are some examples of prescription diet pill brands available on the market: Meridia (Sibutramine), Xenical (Orlistat), Adipex, Bontril, Didrex, Phentermine and Tenuate.
